Joyville, Inc. is an established retail company located in Dallas, Texas. We are a small business operating four retail concepts: Favor the Kind, ROAM Fine Goods, Earnest John, and The Friend Ship.

We are hiring a Brand Manager to manage and implement creative marketing for the company's growing brand catalog, including well-established and newly launched concepts.

This role reports to the owner and will manage a two-person team. 

The Brand Manager will play an integral part in the success of the company by:

  • Leading monthly brand strategy meetings
  • Create and maintain brand books for each brand
  • Partnering with the buying department to align on content relevance
  • Develop and oversee the brand's voice across all marketing channels and website
  • Passionately uplifting the company's mission, purpose, and culture
  • Manage the accountability, preparation, and performance of five social media accounts 
  • Create and schedule store event graphics across multiple marketing channels

A typical week consists of a 40-hour predictable work schedule, prioritizing achievable goals within a limited marketing budget. Once a foundation is established for each brand, the Brand Manager will be given the opportunity to advance in their role through strategic contributions such as: 

  • Developing influencer programs and small business marketing partnerships
  • Creating and implementing the company's fashion campaigns
  • Create and implement growth opportunities for e-commerce
  • Overseeing the creative direction of the brands

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Experience: 3+ years in brand management, social media management, or small business marketing
  • Strategic Planning: Proven evidence of strategic goals leading to financial abundance
  • Time Management: Excellent prioritization skills through time mapping
  • Communication: The ability to communicate a brand message through writing, graphic design, and video. This includes storytelling through copywriting and messaging
  • Instagram/Meta: Understanding the best practices for Instagram and Meta, including who uses them, what types of media are allowed, and when to post. Candidate must be well-versed in Instagram tools and tricks
  • Creativity and design: The ability to create compelling graphics, photos, and videos. 
  • Analytical skills: Understanding marketing analytics and pivoting when messaging or targeting isn't working.
  • Adaptability: Being able to move quickly and adapt to trends

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
