We are hiring a Store Director for our Flagship store, Favor the Kind in Dallas. This position leads a team of 5 full-time managers.

The Store Director is a dynamic leadership role in the store, partnering with the Owner, the Director of Sales and Culture, and the Assistant Store Director to oversee the business and culture goals of the team. The Store Director is accountable for the store culture, business goals, and team's leadership growth. This leader is a source of kindness, trust, and enthusiasm for our customers and team.

The Store Director is a full-time salaried role and reports to the Director of Sales and Culture. As a key member of our leadership team, the Store Director will play a pivotal role in driving sales, fostering a positive customer experience, and building strong relationships within our store. 

Responsibilities:

1. Store Foundations:

  • Oversee sales goals for the store. 
  • Form, implement, and maintain proactive and reactive action plans to ensure the sales targets are met.
  • Implement the company's work schedule standards are met which include balance, consistency, and predictability

2. Leadership & Team Development:

  • Oversee accountability of the Lanes and Drivers Program to maximize the team's strengths and goal achievement.
  • Provide coaching and support to the sales team to maximize their performance.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with the team and one-on-ones to track progress and overcome obstacles.

3. Communication and Collaboration: 

  • Oversee collaboration and communication with Headquarters
  • Partner with the Director of Sales and Culture and Assistant Store Director to map store priorities.
  • Participate in Director-level meetings and communication.

4. Sales Floor Presence:

  •  Actively work the sales floor to build customer relationships and enhance the customer experience.
  • The Director works the sales floor 75% of the week. 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in a leadership role in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Knowledge and love for fashion and styling trends.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and train a dynamic sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning and execution abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively use company communication channels to align and strengthen standards.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Salaries are tied to evidence of leadership abilities. The base range for Directors is $66-$70K.
  • Bi-Annual bonus of 5% - 30% of annual salary is based on sales goal achievement.
