We are currently hiring a Sales Manager for our Flagship store, Favor the Kind in Dallas.

The Sales Manager is a dynamic leadership role in the store, partnering with the Store Director and the Assistant Store Director to oversee the business and culture goals of the team. The Sales Manager is accountable for the store's sales goals, sales training, and customer experience programs, including VIP programs, customer outreach, hospitality, and styling. This leader is a trendsetter, a coach, and the head host of the store. 

The Sales Manager is a full-time salaried role and reports to the Store Director. As a key member of our leadership team, the Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales, fostering a positive customer experience, and building strong relationships within our store. 

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Goal Oversight:

  • Oversee sales goals for each store department. 
  • Formulate and implement reactive action plans to ensure the achievement of sales targets.

2. Leadership & Team Development:

  • Oversee accountability of the Customer Engagement Lane. 
  • Provide coaching and support to the sales team to maximize their performance.

3. Communication and Collaboration: 

  • Oversee collaboration and communication with the buying department.
  • Partner with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director to map store priorities.
  • Participate in Manager-level meetings and communication.

4. Styling Program Management:

  • Lead and manage the company's styling program through team training initiatives. 
  • Ensure consistent implementation of styling standards across the sales floor.

5. Backstock Standards:

  • Oversee and maintain backstock standards for the apparel department. 
  • Implement efficient inventory management practices to streamline operations.

6. Sales Floor Presence:

  •  Actively work the sales floor to build customer relationships and enhance the customer experience. 

7. Merchandising Opportunities:

  • Identify and create merchandising opportunities within the store's apparel room. 
  • Oversee the store's mannequin program.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proven experience in sales management or related role.
  • Knowledge and love for fashion and styling trends.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and train a dynamic sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning and execution abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively use company communication channels to align and strengthen standards.
